Nah, dalam praktiknya, kadang kita perlu <em>query <\/em>yang lebih komplek, seperti <em>query <\/em>yang hasilnya tergantung pada hasil <em>query <\/em>lain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Untuk kebutuhan ini, SQL punya fitur bernama Subquery (atau sering disebut <em>query <\/em>bersarang). Bayangkan subquery seperti <em>query <\/em>di dalam <em>query<\/em>, seperti kotak di dalam kotak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam lanjutan series belajar SQL Database bagian 8 ini, kita akan membahas apa itu subquery, kapan harus menggunakannya, dan bagaimana cara kerjanya melalui contoh kasus data siswa dan mata pelajaran yang mudah dipahami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Apa Itu Subquery?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Sederhananya, <strong>subquery adalah <em>query <\/em>SQL yang ditulis di dalam <em>query <\/em>SQL lain<\/strong>. Biasanya subquery diletakkan di dalam tanda kurung () dan hasilnya akan dipakai oleh <em>query <\/em>utama sebagai acuan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subquery biasanya digunakan saat kita perlu:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Membandingkan data dengan hasil perhitungan lain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mengambil data berdasarkan hasil <em>query <\/em>lain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membuat <em>query <\/em>bertingkat yang lebih dinamis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Contoh kasus sederhana:<br \/>Apabila kita ingin menampilkan data siswa dengan <strong>nilai di atas rata-rata<\/strong>, maka nilai rata-rata tersebut perlu dihitung dahulu.
